Caring Together, Living Better is a partnership of faith-based and community organizations dedicated to supporting approximately one in four west suburban families that are caring for an older adult.
CTLB started in 2009 with seven south suburban African-American churches, Metropolitan Family services, CJE SeniorLife and Catholic Charities collaborating to provide relief for community members who care for older adults.
The west suburban CTLB partnership in Bellwood, Cicero, Maywood and Melrose Park is building a community-driven support system for those who care for older adults. AgeOptions is the project leader, with partners Solutions for Care and Aging Care Connections, along with churches and community organizations.

The Illinois Financial Abuse Specialist Team (iFAST) is a multi-disciplinary collaborative dedicated to preventing elder financial exploitation, the most commonly reported form of abuse against older adults.
AgeOptions developed iFAST in 2013 as a targeted effort to prevent financial exploitation of older adults in the metropolitan Chicago area. It is a powerful collaboration among social service organizations, county and state law enforcement, financial institutions, legal services and state agencies to address the systemic fragmentation in addressing elder financial exploitation in Cook County.
