Senior Medicare Patrol Webinar 2024
This webinar discussed the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) program, trending Medicare scams in Illinois, fraud prevention tips, and other knowledge to enhance advocacy for clients who are Medicare beneficiaries. Our presenter was Marina Silva, an SMP Outreach Specialist at AgeOptions with years of experience in SMP education outreach. She also answers all of Illinois SMP’s hotline calls about suspected Medicare fraud, errors and abuse.
Marina was able to share her knowledge and expertise on these Medicare scams, and how to effectively assist and support victims, caregivers, and other concerned community members through these complex situations.
