A free web-based service of the National Council on Aging, BenefitsCheckUp helps people 55 and older find and enroll in public and private benefits. This comprehensive website asks a series of questions to help individuals identify all the benefits they are eligible for, and quickly finds federal, state and private benefit programs to help save money on health care, food, prescriptions, utilities and more.
The BenefitsCheckUp website provides applications for more than 50 different programs, including Medicare’s Extra Help, Medicaid, Medicare Savings Programs, state pharmacy programs and other programs that can help pay for prescription drugs and health care costs.
