Avisery Resources on Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs)

Illinois’ Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative integrated plans for residents eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid will end on Dec. 31, 2025. In their place, dually eligible individuals can enroll in Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans that will begin operating in Illinois on Jan. 1, 2026.

We are happy to offer busy professionals several resources on the Illinois transition from the Medicare and Medicaid Alignment initiative (MMAI) to Medicare Advantage Dually Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP) starting in January 2026.
